Schuyler Patton

Texas Instruments
Software Applications Engineer
I have been working on Embedded Linux Applications for 10 plus years for Texas Instruments. The team I work on supports an LTS version of the mainline Linux Kernel that TI packages into an SDK for Sitara Processors which developers use to develop their applications.

This role like any applications role covers a wide breath of activities. Primarily I support networking issues encountered with the SDK. But I also handle system or general Linux issues and board bring up issues on customer boards.

Part of my role is sharing my knowledge with field engineers by speaking at internal summits for my employer. I have presented at several of the summits speaking multiple times on Board Porting, RT Linux and Networking. Most of these presentations were published as part of TI training.

I am looking to share this knowledge and is why I would like to present but also hoping to gain from the community any knowledge they have in the topic I have proposed.
